Strengthening Collaborative Practices

Enabling teams to tackle complex projects more collaboratively.

Mission

After a transformation involving nearly 1,000 employees, our client—a major player in the aerospace and defense sector—sought to build on the collaborative practices and collective intelligence methods introduced during the process. The goal was to firmly embed these approaches across the organization, empowering teams to manage complex projects autonomously. To achieve this, they turned to our CO-Inside solution.

Solution

The CO-Inside program offers a distinct approach to training teams in collaborative methods. Designed as a five-month journey, it features four training capsules spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Each capsule seamlessly blends theory with practical application, encouraging participants to apply these methods to a designated project from the start. Between capsules, small group supervision sessions, often conducted remotely, provide a chance to sharpen skills while exchanging insights with peers.

Across the four capsules, participants delve into hands-on activities, from role-playing and facilitation workshops to debriefing exercises. Each capsule has a clear focus:

  • Centering: Establishing a solid framework, exploring the fundamentals of collective intelligence, and setting the stage for skill development.
  • Initiating: Linking transformation to collective intelligence, laying the groundwork for a collaborative culture.
  • Executing: Mastering essential collaborative tools, and guiding collective initiatives with confidence.
  • Consolidating: Refining practices, mastering the art of debriefing, and fostering a dynamic team environment.

The program concludes with a peer evaluation, validating the competencies gained and leading to an internally recognized certification.

The CO-Inside program has delivered measurable benefits for the organization:

  • Cultivating in-house expertise in designing and leading collaborative strategies for diverse groups.
  • Integrating cutting-edge methods drawn from global best practices.
  • Establishing a collaborative approach from the outset to ensure seamless execution and high performance.
  • Streamlining connections with larger collaborative programs that may involve external consultancy.

We truly become active participants in collaborative methods.
