Mission

The senior management of the company aimed to make their upcoming convention “a pivotal moment for the success of the transformation“. They enlisted Adviso’s support. With 1,100 directors and managers in attendance, the goal was to ignite a shift in mindset, foster a comprehensive understanding of the new strategy, and equip attendees with the motivation and tools necessary to take decisive action, in the course of a single day. A challenge!

Solution

While the group’s size presented an obvious challenge, we saw it as a prime opportunity to spark dynamic conversations and stimulate innovation : bringing together the key components of a system always creates a unique setting for the generation of new ideas and the unleashing of unparalleled energy.

To facilitate meaningful exchanges and mutual enrichment, we devised an innovative solution – a co-development session for all of the 1,100 attendees – in the massive plenary hall we occupied.

Our role was also to support the design of the convention’s agenda, write the President’s speech and coach some of the speakers.

Ultimately, this dynamic and impactful convention day led the participants through a journey that encompassed three key phases:

    • An opening session where participants could gather information from over 30 booths and engage in peer-to-peer conversations
    • A period of reflection and exchange to “digest” the information
    • A time for operational translation and the start of implementation

To manage this project, the Adviso team was composed of strategy consultants, participatory leadership facilitators and a journalist.

"The highest task of tradition is to return to progress the courtesy it owes it and to allow progress to emerge from tradition as tradition has emerged from progress."
